Bournemouth International Centre

The redevelopment of the BIC involved remodelling of the interior including the Windsor Hall. The new Solent Hall was also created. All mechanical plant installations were replaced and supported on new steelwork platforms positioned on the existing roof.

Winsor Hall -

The main stage area was enlarged which required the installation of new roof trusses. New side balconies were constructed supported on piled foundations. The ceiling has a walk on tension grid and rolling beams making rigging for events very safe and flexible.

Tregonwell Hall -

Remodelling of this hall was carried out involving the installation of new lighting galleries.

Solent Hall -

The new Solent Hall was constructed over the existing swimming pool. This involved decommissioning the pool and wave machine and a new floor slab was constructed with a granwood floor finish. This has created a very flexible space for events and exhibitions.
